2022 is about to end. I’m pretty sure you set some goals for 2022 at the beginning of the year. When looking back at those goals, how many did you achieve?

Let’s look at my goals for 2022 and see how many I have achieved this year.

Here is the video from last year if you want the full version:

**Youtube**

-✅ Hit 700k subs -> we currently have 688k on our channel. SO WE MIGHT ACHIEVE THIS BY THE END OF THIS YEAR🥳

- ❌❌Post 1-3 times a week

I struggled with consistency on Youtube this year😅

**Health**

- ✅Get leaner

- ✅ Eat healthier

- ✅ Exercise regularly

This year I finally built the habit of hitting the gym consistently (x4-x5 times a week), and I incorporated high-protein meals into my diet. I’ve never felt this strong in my life 💪🏻

If you are curious about my diet and workout routine, follow me on Instagram (@ruriohama). I’m going to post my each workout session and occasionally what I eat in a day there✌️

**Self Growth**

- ✅read 10 good books

- ✅Read before going to bed

- ✅no scrolling before bed

I also managed to build the habit of reading every day. I always read, if not listen to a podcast when I’m commuting, and I stopped scrolling 30 minutes before going to bed, and instead, I started reading. This alone allowed me to read more than 50 books this year, and also it inspired me so much when it comes to new video ideas 💡 📚

**Med School**

- ❌pass all of the exams

- ❌study regularly

If you’ve been following my med school journey for a while, you probably know that we had huge family finance issues this year, and I had to quit my private uni to support my family financially. I started from scratch at a public uni. Sooo I’m a first-year medical student AGAIN. But to be honest, I make quite a great amount of money from youtube, and I’m not rushing to finish school. So it’s all good.

**Social**

- [✅visit Matt and Izzy

- ❌ attend a lot of parties

- ❌time&money management

I finally had the opportunity to meet my first online friends, Izzy and Matt. They visited me in Rome, and we had a fantastic time together. We also have a podcast together, but we’ve been failing at being consistent 😅

If you’re curious, you can watch an episode here:

**Fun**

-✅bring mom to 3 different countries

- ❌ save money& plan ahead

- - ❌take wine&hard liqueur courses

This year I had the opportunity to bring my mom to various countries, and even though I didn’t save that much this year, I made memories I will never forget my entire life. In 2023, I want to be more frugal and make better financial decisions aahhahahahaha

Before setting some goals for the next year, I think it’s important to reflect back on our goals to have realistic expectations for the next year.

How many did you guys achieve?

Let me know.

xoxo
